Town of Bennington Select Board

Notice is hereby given to the inhabitants of the Town of Bennington that the Select Board will conduct a Public Hearing pursuant to RSA 31:5-b at 7 School Street, Bennington, NH in the Gymnasium on July 14, 2025 at 6:00 pm, to explain the reasons for the Special Town Meeting scheduled for July 28, 2025 which includes voting to cure defects in the posting of the Budget (MS-636) and Annual Meeting Warrant of the 2025 Town Meeting and the holding of the Deliberative Session of the Meeting on January 28, 2025, and to ratify the actions taken at the meeting in accordance with RSA 31:5-b.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Special Town Meeting

Notice is hereby given to the inhabitants of the Town of Bennington that the Bennington Select Board will be holding a Special Town Meeting pursuant to RSA 31:5-b to see if the Town will vote to cure any defects in the posting of notice of the 2025 Town Meeting and to ratify the results of the Tuesday, January 28, 2005, first session of the annual meeting even though the posting requirements were not met. Said Special Town Meeting will be held July 28, 2025 at 7 School St., Bennington, NH, Gymnasium at 6:00 pm.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Effective, March 10, 2025 all Class V roads in the Town of Bennington shall be closed to vehicles weighing in the excess of 6-ton. Anyone needing a special exception to this posted weight limit should contact DJ Wing, DPW at 603-588-2660. This posting shall remain in effect until further notice and as conditions warrant.

TOWN OF BENNINGTON
PUBLIC NOTICE
Effective November 1 through May 1, no vehicle shall be parked on any street in the Town of Bennington from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., nor parked on any street in such a manner as to impede snow removal. No person shall stop or cause to be stopped or park a vehicle in a manner which interferes with any snow removal operation regardless of date and time. Vehicles found to be in violation of the Parking Ordinance may receive a summons and/or may be towed by the Bennington Police Department.
