Public Hearing

The Bennington Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing at Bennington Town Hall Gymnasium, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 6:00 pm to review the proposed 2025 budget.

The 1st Session of Town Meeting to discuss Warrant Articles & Budgets to be reviewed by residents will be held at the Bennington Town Hall Gymnasium, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 6:00 pm.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Per order of the Board of Selectmen, effective March 4, 2024, the Town of Bennington has posted all Class V & Class VI roads with a 6-ton weight limit. The posting will remain in effect until otherwise posted. Home deliveries are exempt; requests for special exception should be directed to the Road Agent at 588-2660. A restoration bond may be required for an exemption to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Effective November 1 through May 1, no vehicle shall be parked on any street in the Town of Bennington from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., nor parked on any street in such a manner as to impede snow removal. No person shall stop or cause to be stopped or park a vehicle in a manner which interferes with any snow removal operation regardless of date and time. Vehicles found to be in violation of the Parking Ordinance may receive a summons and/or may be towed by the Bennington Police Department.
