Notice has been given that a Public Hearing to be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at 7:15 p.m. at the Bennington Town Hall concerning an application by Doris Nelkins for a variance concerning Article VII, Section P of the Bennington Zoning Ordinance. Applicant proposes the construction of an additional detached dwelling unit on the property located at 14 Greenfield Road in the Village District, further identified as Map 7, Lot 20.

Effective, March 10, 2025 all Class V roads in the Town of Bennington shall be closed to vehicles weighing in the excess of 6-ton. Anyone needing a special exception to this posted weight limit should contact DJ Wing, DPW at 603-588-2660. This posting shall remain in effect until further notice and as conditions warrant.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Effective November 1 through May 1, no vehicle shall be parked on any street in the Town of Bennington from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., nor parked on any street in such a manner as to impede snow removal. No person shall stop or cause to be stopped or park a vehicle in a manner which interferes with any snow removal operation regardless of date and time. Vehicles found to be in violation of the Parking Ordinance may receive a summons and/or may be towed by the Bennington Police Department.
