JUNE
** Saturday, June 29, 2024 **
The 7th Annual Contoocook River Paddle
9:00 am
Sponsored by the Bennington Conservation Commission, this free annual event showcases our premier geographic feature of the area, our Contoocook River. The Paddle attracts Bennington residents as well as kayakers and canoeists from all over southern New Hampshire. It begins and ends at the Powder Mill Pond boat landing by the covered bridge on Forest Road.
Participants need to bring, their own boat, flotation device, water bottle, sunblock and any other things they need for their comfort and safety. Start your summer fun with this great tour of our valley.
JULY
** Tuesday, July 2, 2024 **
– Amateur Radio Forum –
The first Tuesday of each month the Town of Bennington will be sponsoring an Amateur Radio Forum
at the VFW between the hours of 7:00pm – 9:00pm.
Curtis Dude will be available to educate and demonstrate for the community,
as well as for any interested people, an Amateur Radio Forum.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to start their knowledge base or expand their knowledge on utilizing Amateur Radio to communicate over the airwaves. You can potentially communicate worldwide via your own radio station.
This Forum is FREE to all who want to attend, we look forward to seeing you there!

The NH State Primary Voting
Voting will be upstairs at the Town Hall from 8:00am – 7:00pm.
There is an elevator/lift available for those who may need it.
